Review on Mountain Made Balaclava Thermal Polyester by Derick Carpenter

I like the product, although the price seemed too high. I assume that the perception of value is directly related to the goal. I'm not a skier but I figured if it's for skiers and motorcyclists then it should work for my purposes. I work part-time Monday through Friday at a UPS hub where we load and unload aircraft for 5 hours each. Night. I was looking for a balaclava that would provide 1) warmth and 2) wind protection from the negative Midwest cold. This product does the job perfectly but I have actually doubled it with a cheaper quality balaclava which was not effective on its own. Their price was around $8 while this item cost around $25. I would say the biggest advantages of this balaclava are 1) the fabric/materials and 2) the fold down "top". The latter makes it possible to use it really with great versatility. When warming up/cooling down, I go from "scarf" to "neck warmer" to a full balaclava and then back to a scarf if that makes sense. didn't come back either. :) I would be happier with the $18 price, which would be a 25% discount.
