The booklet that came with it says it should be around 5ft 2in but I think it could be a bit bigger so maybe 5ft 3 or 5ft 4in. The tripod can hold both a cell phone (both iPhone and Android) and also has an extra head that can be used for video cameras (the brochure mentions GoPro, and cameras with a 1/4 threaded hole can be attached directly to the tripod itself be screwed). ). Once you've attached your device, it will also slightly expand/amplify your camera's line of sight (since the tripod itself is 5ft 3in, an additional 2in will be added depending on how your camera is placed on your phone). My phone is an iPhone XR, the head of the phone fits perfectly but I see more space. The brochure says it fits phones between 2 and 3.78 inches. Now for the remote control. You can connect the remote control to your phone via Bluetooth like any other device. It can take both photos and videos, depending on what feature you have enabled on your phone. I tried using it with different apps and found that I can take photos or videos with the Instagram and Snapchat camera. After everything is assembled I find my phone to be very sturdy and in place. I haven't used the tripod outdoors yet, so I don't know if it's durable in different conditions, but if you're going to use it solely for personal photo shoots or indoor video recording, I think you're fine and the product is good very worth its price.
