No more scabs from burns

I sustained 2nd degree burns on my leg when the pot I was cooking chicken in tipped over and landed on my leg. Saying it hurts is a joke, I thought it was COVID time I didn't need to go to the hospital and basically I didn't think the burn was that bad. Fast forward 2 weeks. I thought the burn was infected so I had to go to the hospital. I didn't realize how serious it was until I got there and they told me it was a second degree burn and I wasn't treating it properly. Fast forward to a severe tongue lick from the medical staff, after checking my temperature and blood, I was sent to the ward for a diagnosis. It turned out not to be infected (thanks to the aloe and vinegar wash) and I focused on the materials they used for the bandage. Wound. It was one of them. I asked what that was for. I was told that it has antibacterial properties, but most importantly it prevents the dressing from sticking to the wound and coming off (you know what happens when the gauze sticks to the wound and when you take it off the wound starts there ). bleeding or remains vulnerable again because the protective layer (scab) has disappeared.) I cannot say that this saved my wound from infection because the cream containing silver (when the medical staff attended to the wound) and aloe (when I took care of it myself ) was used so either one or all three could have prevented infection but I can say that the wound eventually started to crust and heal faster when this was used. I would buy again. Optimistic. I would recommend. Definitive. It helped, it helped.
