Review on XHD®TECSUN Receiver Broadcast Built Speaker by Tina Coleman

Received this radio (R-(909) today 27th March 2020 and was happy to put in batteries and start testing, unfortunately the radio stopped hearing in less less than 5 minutes to work so i replaced the AA batteries with a new pair but the radio still didn't work i checked the batteries in another unit and they worked and tested them with a volt meter and they were fully charged i then tried a 3 volt supply, the power supply and radio happened to work, and happened to require me to hold the power plug in a certain spot (the inner connection had a short or loose solder joint. When I finally found a spot to connect it I was glad to hear the FM band but all other bands were useless even when I moved the radio to other locations with the antenna fully extended. I h really hoped it would be the perfect little transistor radio for me. I give 1 star and will return the R-909.
