I'm not sure if I had a defect but I had some problems with it. However, the picture is pretty good.1. The sound was not recorded, although it is stated that it will be.2. Disconnects the wireless connection and restarts once a day or every other day.3. At random times, it emits a constant click with an interval of 12-13 seconds.4. You can zoom in on live video, but not on recorded events or video.5. The duration of the recorded video when triggered by motion cannot be changed. It only records about 30 seconds.
