Cambridge Audio have addressed almost all of the shortcomings of the already fantastic Melomania 1 with these in-ear monitors.1. Fixed the lack of a companion application with the ability to adjust the equalizer parameters and update the firmware – VERIFICATION.2. Replace micro USB with USB-C charger – CHECK3. Keeping the same great form factor, including the industry's best CHECK4 charging case. Add some large earbuds that fit my (seemingly) huge ear canals - CHECK5. Keep the price ridiculously affordable given the sound quality and everything else - CHECK. The only thing I would wish for in a perfect world is a transparency mode and maybe a slightly more robust equalizer app like the fabulous Soundcore app. I personally don't really care about ANC, it increases the price and usually affects the sound quality. I wouldn't mind wireless charging, but the battery life is so phenomenal you probably won't need to charge it anyway. Call quality is still below average, which unfortunately is a direct result of the bullet form factor. The original Melomania 1 was already the best of my eleven! True wireless headphones in many areas. One thing I've always dreamed of is to EQ them the way I can with Sony, Sennheiser, Soundcore and Jabra headphones. Now that I can with the Melomania 1+, Cambridge Audio is getting closer to perfection with these headphones. My AirPod Pros are gathering dust next to them. There is no competition. Feel free to buy them.
