Review on 🛏️ ZonLi Weighted Blanket 15lbs (60x80, Queen Size, Navy Blue), Cooling and Breathable Heavy Blanket for Adults, Soft Material with Premium Glass Beads by Jason Peterson

I purchased this weighted blanket, size 60" x 80" in the 15lb weight. Although I'm sending this one back for the 20lb weighted blanket in the exact same size and cream color, I can tell you that this particular brand is constructed with top quality craftsmanship and incredibly soft 100% cotton outer fabric. I inspected the blanket under bright light and was amazed at the heavy duty stitching and accuracy of not just the outer edges of the blanket, but also the individual squares themselves. Each square has it's own quantity of glass beads in them and each squared off area is approximately 6" x 6", similar to a floor tile.There are many reasons why one would have a need for a weighted blanket and for me, they're all sorts of medical reasons, anxiety, restless leg, etc., so the actual weight of the blanket is very important to me to get the full effects of a weighted blanket. Although it says 15lbs, it's really just over 13lbs. For reference and to help you decide on your weight, I weigh 130lbs and am 5'7" tall. This exact blanket may be perfect for some people as they say the blanket should be roughly 10% of your own body weight. I did a few hours of research on these blankets, even going to consumer reports and other survey websites to be sure that I was looking at the blankets with great reviews and the positive features about each type. I knew I wanted a blanket that was about 12 to 15% to help me, so I'm going with the 20lb and assuming that one will also be slightly less than stated.Some of these blankets have additional layers of either polyester or cotton fill, this blanket does not have an extra thick layer of that fill, but it does have a thin layer of fill as the glass beads made no sound while I was putting it on my bed. In fact, when the blanket is folded up into the manufacturer's bag, it's no more than 8-10" thick. This is the type that I was searching for and there are many that are much puffier, if that's what you're looking for. I didn't add a photo because it looks exactly like the online pictures.These blankets are also not meant to drape over the edges of the bed, rather they're best if they just fit the top portion of your full size or queen size bed (for the 60" x 80"). The cream color is a beautiful muted, pale yellow, not bright at all. There are also 3 loops along the top and bottom edge and a loop in the middle of each side of the blanket, making a total of 8 loops and very secure if you want to put a duvet cover on it. If you want to extend the life of your blanket, it may be a good idea to add the cover and this company sells them separately. I'll update my review within the next couple of days once my 20lb blanket comes in. But it's definitely a 5 star product, a great value in terms of money and I'd recommend to anyone trying to decide which one of the many to decide on!
