This is a great mic for those on a budget trying to get started with podcasts, YouTube videos or anything else from a PC. Well if you are looking for high quality sound from this mic this is not the mic you should buy but with some post processing you can tweak the sound a bit to get closer to studio quality. Just know that your expectations should be low when purchasing this microphone. However, it is still a downstream microphone. I've found that the sound is best when headphones are used to reduce feedback from the speakers connected to my computer. This will happen and you will need to lower the microphone gain to almost zero. With practice and patience, I've found a sweet spot in using this mic. This could be a great second mic for those who don't want to spend a lot of money on a new mic.
