Review on Gravity Electric Pepper Grinder Adjustable by Eric Temple

Revainrating 5 out of 5

For me it's all about the tools and how well they do what they promise.

This salt and pepper mill set is an A+. I've always loved battery-powered grinders: they're efficient and just plain fun. But most of them have at least two fatal flaws: they are heavy and require frequent refueling, since they do not contain much salt and pepper. In my picture you can see my last salt shaker on the left and this item on the right (along with a ruler to show the height). These grinders solve both of my problems... You can see the size of these salt and pepper "containers" and how the size of the container makes their bottom heavy. The previous salt mill ended as a direct result of the typical unbalanced construction. I was filling it up and putting it back on the lazy Susanna I keep on the table for frequently used items when it fell over and rolled off the table and shattered on the floor. And that was the end. I wasn't too keen on the stand either when I decided to buy this set, but after using coffee grinders for a while it's real value too. It guides the grinder's placement AND keeps it secure even when my target tilted it off-center instead of sitting upright. I think I've finally found the perfect salt and pepper grinder for me. If you have any of the same problems, they should be perfect for you too.
