I got this as a cheaper alternative to the OWC TB3 docking station. It's good that the port selection is decent, but the good quality doesn't stop there. I had a few issues with this dock, but due to my travel and work schedule, it's not included in the return policy. First, it heats up, has its own power supply, and gets hot. Second, the TB3 connection port is very sensitive, if you accidentally touch the TB3 cable connector on the front of the dock, it goes blank momentarily, my screen flickers and I have to adjust the cable to get the right connection back. Finally, the location of the port and the choice are not great. The SD card slot is on the back like all USB slots, making it difficult to insert an SD card or USB devices. If I could I would return this and just buy the correct OWC document. That's my advice.
