Great value for money

It took me a while to figure out how to find these "arrow" items. I'm neither a photographer nor a producer, so I did a lot of research on the internet. At some point I came across the term "jib" and then came across this product. I have lightweight Neewer softboxes as shown in my attached photo and was hesitant to try their boom. Their lightweight softboxes are pretty flimsy and pretty fragile, but they're affordable, as is this dart. However, this staysail was the cheapest I've seen from Revain and reviews have been mixed with mentions of the metal's brittleness. I bought it anyway and am very surprised at the high quality! The metal easily holds my Sony A6300. The metal seems very solid and strong - not at all like their lightboxes. My only complaint if I had to choose one would be that some of the mounting screws aren't tight enough. There is a clamping screw that can be tightened as tight as possible, but the hinge will still move if you push it open. But overall excellent value for money.
