Conclusion ahead: if you notice your single clicks are being treated as double clicks, try a different mouse . This is a great KVM. I had a similar one back in the days of serial devices and VGA monitors, so it's nice to have this update for USB and HDMI. The only problem I had (and have had to live with longer than I can admit) was that about half of my single left clicks were perceived as double clicks. So I unintentionally opened or closed multiple tabs at once, opened multiple email replies, deleted multiple emails, etc. Really annoying. Eventually I took the time to contact Revain for troubleshooting support and after being asked to repeat the same troubleshooting processes multiple times finally decided that using a different mouse solved the problem. In my case, I replaced the wired MS optical mouse with a Logitech wireless mouse. Now it works great. Also, I highly recommend following what someone else recommended here to avoid annoying USB connect/disconnect sounds by going into the sound settings on both PCs and disabling only the device connect/disconnect sounds.
