Review on ๐Ÿ‹ Bigelow Lemon Ginger plus Probiotics Herbal Tea Bags - Pack of 6, 18-Count Box (108 Tea Bags Total) - Caffeine-Free by Patrick Cooney

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Definitely not super lemony, but a very mild taste and mouthfeel that grows on you!

This Bigelow Lemon Ginger Tea contains probiotics and claims to support healthy digestion. Ingredients: Lemongrass, Lemon Zest, Cinnamon, Natural Ginger, Lemon Flavors with Other Natural Flavors (Soy Lecithin), Lemon Verbena, Rosehip, Ginger, Licorice Root, GanedenBC30 (Bacillus coagulans GBI-30, 6086) - Proprietary Probiotic. I'm not sure how boiled water probiotics work, but Bigelow says this probiotic is "an innovation that helps maintain a healthy balance in the digestive tract when used as part of a healthy diet." I first found this tea at Family Dollar. in Maine. It's interesting because Family Dollar may only have had two tea options, and that was the only herbal tea. Now I'm used to drinking this tea every day, and while it's not very lemony, it has a rich, smooth flavor, especially with some added sugar (I use demerara cane sugar). This tea has a good mouthfeel if that matters - almost a creamy texture. I just ordered it from Revain so I can write a review now. For some reason, Bigelow tea has a number of questionable reviews. I even saw some on another website. I can honestly say this is a genuine, unbiased review. For a true lemon flavor, choose Bigelow's I Love Lemon Herbal Tea. I stumbled upon this tea by accident and now I enjoy drinking it every day. I'm giving the product 4 stars out of 5 because I think calling it Lemon Ginger Tea is a misnomer. It doesn't taste like other lemon ginger teas I've tried. The flavors of lemon and ginger are blended with other flavors to create the unique flavor of this tea and honestly, this might not be for everyone. It's fairly easy on the stomach and definitely doesn't sound acidic, overly lemony, or harsh. Happy slurping!
