This down jacket was ordered for an active little boy and although the weather isn't cold enough to wear it yet I can tell you something about it. I ordered it in red which is his favorite color and the color is exactly as described on ebay. The coat is very well made, as it should be for the price. I expect it will last for several "generations" of used things. The outside of the coat is made of a typical nylon material and the lining is made of a very soft fleece. I always check the zippers on children's clothes and this one did not disappoint. It is very high quality and moves up and down easily. If your child doesn't want to zip up the jacket, there are buttons they can use instead. There are three small pocket zippers and they're not that easy to unzip and unzip, but they're ok and didn't stop me from recommending this jacket. I like that there are pockets as many children's jackets don't have them. The hood is good and can be detached if for some reason the kid doesn't like it. Although the price is a bit high, the durability of the jacket is worth the investment. And it's machine washable! Highly recommended.
