This is the second heat reflection pad I've gotten on amazon for the feral cat that sleeps in the tool shed at my work. The first was a different brand and seller for about the same price, but was thinner, smaller, and just seemed like a regular cheap fleece pad that would be included in a pet bed. I really doubt it actually reflected body heat. This one is sooo much better. It's thicker tempurpedic type padding, the faux fur is very soft and I'm sure it will wash much better than the fleece pad I had. And best of all, it actually reflects heat. If you lay your hand on it for a few seconds you can actually feel your hand warming from the body heat reflecting back on it. Pretty sweet!
