I ordered the single recliner version, as shown in the first picture. The instructions (second Picture) were for a double recliner. The 3rd step was not at all applicable to me. When I went to the 4th step I discovered the strap was quite a bit too long to hold the slipcover tight. I also had a plastic piece included ( 3rd picture) that probably was to help tighten the elastic strap, but I couldn't figure out how to use it, and no instructions on its use were provided. Currently, I am using upholstery pins to keep the slipcover in place. I do like the way the slipcover looks and since I can still use it, I am not returning it.
