My dog is a royal shepherd. He weighs about 145 pounds. He's a lifesaver for a few months. He acts aggressively against men and mask wearers. It has strain relief straps that help a lot with pulls and lunges. However, I could not only use his aggression in the harness and on a strong leash. I had to use a muzzle to be safe. I found the collar I was given at rescue to be weak. I couldn't keep my muzzle securely on his face. When the dog became aggressive, it would tremble slightly and pull its muzzle. Both the muzzle and the collar went over the head. I am looking for non slip collars and this was one of them. When it arrived it felt sturdy and was a great design with the ability to tighten the collar and use a section to keep it closed. It was what I thought I needed. It was Goldilocks size, since none of the sizes fit him: Large. It was too tight. It didn't fit around his neck. returned it When he got it on the last beam, he was unhappy. It was too uncomfortable so I sent it back. No size XXL. Stopped trying and bought a local brand from the store. I lack reflectivity and strength, but it fits.
