The hardest part was taking apart the old broken key fob. I found a couple of YouTube videos on this, both were for Hyundai/Kia and both showed it with a Hyundai key fob that came apart fairly easily. The key fob for my Kia Soul di 2013 is NOT easy to take apart. I ended up using a razor to cut off the sides and bottom before I could finally take it apart. After taking it apart and removing the circuit board, battery, and key, it was pretty easy to put everything in the new case. Skilled fingers would have been an advantage, but I managed it anyway. Also note. Both videos I found were about how to dig up the transponder chip. this could be a Hyundai feature as it wasn't in my soul. I saw a spot where my old key fob could be broken into, but there was no chip. It took about 30 minutes to disassemble the old one, and about 10 minutes to assemble the new one and check it.
