Incredibly rough and dry hair for a shampoo that claims to contain conditioner. With Redken Volumizer I condition a lot more than before. The bubbles are substantial so this makes a great body wash. I will say it for him. The smell is pleasant - neither fragrant nor pale. I haven't noticed any unusual dryness on my skin and I haven't had any side effects to the product. If you have very fine hair or your hair dries quickly, stay away from this product. I was drawn to this product because I could get it for ten dollars less than other Redken products of the same size. I'll use up the bottle, but probably just as a shower gel or bubble bath.
