All-day comfort for hiking, biking and boating

I've actually put these shoes through the mill for the past week. I ran 20 miles in them. I've crossed rivers, I've climbed a rocky field. I rode a bike. I drove six hours. I went boating for a day. I haven't skydived or walked through fire, but that's all I haven't done. Construction They have a one-piece stretch upper, meaning they fit like a tight neoprene sock. It's intentional - essentially they're water shoes. For added arch support, they have a set of low eyelets and a lacing system that wraps snugly around the top of the foot. The outsole is quite thick, with a soft rubber texture in the arch area and stiffer rubber treads on the toe and heel (wear zones). The removable insole isn't made out of memory foam, but rather open-cell, medium-density polyurethane, which I think works better than memory foam because it absorbs shock better and is better ventilated. socks. Because of the construction method, you'll get more ankle roll and less heel-slip compared to a running shoe, but I found the experience comfortable even when carrying a 25-pound backpack and climbing through a boulder field. My feet stayed dry even when I accidentally dunked one in the creek. I've been constantly checking for tread wear and haven't noticed any accelerated damage, so I think they'll hold up well. The motion shots show some of the details. Boating These shoes are designed for boating. They are easy to put on and take off. In addition, I wore them without socks all day, at 90 degrees at the lake. Again, my feet stayed dry and comfortable. Cycling I didn't expect them to be comfortable for cycling but I tried anyway. I wore them on my road bike with traditional metal pedal frames. The sole padding was welcome as I felt no pain after 90 minutes (I usually ride in shoes with a lot less padding to fit the cage). They fit well in the cage - the shallower tread depth compared to running shoes made them a bit lighter in my opinion. Generally good impressions throughout. Absolutely no bubbles! My wife was jealous of my legs the whole holiday.
