Use some for a small (about 3 feet) Christmas tree and others for a string of lights on a miniature Christmas tree (5 to 7 inches tall). Christmas trees on the O-Bahn track layout. Very nice warm white light. The string seems to be quite strong in handling/function. The LEDs are placed close together for this use as I describe. Some strings are twice as long but use the same number of LEDs so 'coverage' is questionable when used this way on larger/tall items, although good 'coverage' with more strings could be achieved. Obviously the length between the LEDs in a jar isn't that important in general. They were perfect for my applications. Run them across an appropriate resistor with either a low wattage AC to DC wall adapter or a battery holder with three AA batteries for longer run times.
