Moved to a new house that came pre-wired with a ceiling fan in the center of the living room. Personally, I'm not a fan of ceiling fans (no pun intended) anywhere other than in bedrooms and screened-in porches/3-4 season spaces. So I installed 9 of these fans in my living room and they look amazing. We prefer the more yellow 2700k bulbs and that color palette is harder to find than the 3000k which is still too white for my liking. The builder used a 4-way socket with a toggle switch. So unless I wanted to change all the other switches to Decora to get one of the dimmers on the Parmida compatible list, I had to use a toggle switch/slider. The Lutron TGCL-153PH-WH from HD was used, which has HED technology and should have better LED compatibility. Worked right out of the box, no adjustments needed. Full dimming from total lack of light to full brightness. If you have hum, it's most likely a dimmer and not LEDs. You can try to adapt it internally or use a different model.
