I bought a love seat in good condition, like new, but it smells strongly of mothballs. I didn't notice until I brought it home. From morning to night, I open the window a little to let in fresh air where there is a two-seater sofa. I do it despite the winter and 20 degrees outside. Anyway, I bought an odor eliminator sponge to get rid of the naphthalene smell. Well I see no difference in the smell. So I don't know if it works or not. I also arranged open boxes of baking soda around the loveseat. The smell of mothballs is still there. Pooh! I give the product 2 stars because I don't see/feel any noticeable difference.
