Review on 🗑️ InSinkErator Badger 1 Continuous Feed Garbage Disposal with Cord, 1/3 HP by Yousef Abood

My old Dachs 1 finally needed a replacement after more than 12 years. Although it was still working fine, it started leaking from the bottom. Since it has given me reliable service for so many years, I have decided to replace it with the same model. I'm so glad I did as the installation was easy. It literally took me about 10 minutes as I was able to use the old unit's mount to mount the new one. Also, this unit came with a power cord already installed, which is not the case with most units. Big plus and time saving: The cable no longer has to be removed from the old device and reconnected to the new device. I never understood why most garbage chutes don't have a power cord. I'm sure there's a reason. After more than 12 years of experience with the same model, I can say that this device is quite powerful and quite quiet for its price. Also, its compact size allows for more space under the sink, which is great in my case as I have a drawer for things to be stored there. IMPORTANT: If you are connecting a dishwasher drain line to it prior to installation, be sure to knock the drain plug out of the dishwasher drain hole and remember to remove the piece of plastic you tore out of the drain hole. (Steps 15 and 16 in the included installation guide) You will be very sorry if you forget these steps and turn on the dishwasher. You can imagine what a disaster it could be! So. We hope this new Badger 1 lasts another 12+ years!
