Sturdy but with knot on the collar
This tie is very strong and does the job, however I have found that the carabiner used to attach the dog collar/harness does not rotate and twist causing the collar or harness to twist, and when the screw is not tightened, the latch opens, releasing your dog. This has happened to my dog a few times and tonight the tie on her collar was so twisted that I had to remove her collar to undo the tie clip to get it out of her collar. Leaving a dog unattended can create a serious choking hazard. So when using this tie, keep a close eye on your dog. The solution to the problem may be to add a swivel carabiner to prevent twisting and knotting.
