I ordered this project box to duplicate a battery expander I built a year ago. I went back to my original order details and tried to get the exact same items (box and D cell battery holder). But as you can guess, the merchandise was either sold out or the price had changed. So I looked for a duplicate and found another one with the same external dimensions (at least that's what the disclaimer said). The original box and brackets fit exactly how I wanted, but the new D cell battery brackets do not fit the INTERNAL DIMENSIONS of the new box. The four D-Cells fit snugly, so the corner posts need to be wider/thicker for the cover screws. Good box, well made, good padding - just needs to be increased in width by a few millimeters.
