It didn't work as described. He's not sensitive enough. The range is from 0 to 199 mW/cm2, but there is only ONE range. Direct sunlight aimed at the sun on a bright, sunny day is 8 mW/cm2. So the range above 10mW/cm2 is useless unless you are working with lasers. Pointing directly at the full LED light source used for magnification (10" circle with magnifying glass) gives you 3mW/cm2. This is a very powerful LED light that you don't normally look at. At 1 foot, that's 1.5 mW. /CM2. Any other light that meter registers as 0. Cannot work with small blue light sources. Update: I noticed that they have a "Bilirubin" model with a sensitivity of 0-1999 Β΅W/cm2 (actually 0 to 2mW/cm2). , I've only given 2 stars as it should be easy to sell a device with both ranges and cut/paste features/features from that model onto this model.
