Description of Rotatable Photosynthetically Radiation Waterproof Telescopic

This PAR meter with external waterproof probe can be used to measure photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) in the air or underwater. It measures PAR flux in wavelengths ranging from the 400 to 700 nm and measures up to 2,700 μmol/m2·s. The detector can rotate freely at 270 degrees, makes the measurement more accurate. The external sensor is 1m long, the telescopic wand is 98cm long when pulled apart and only 21cm when folded, allows the user to place the sensor in hard to reach areas. Features with peak hold function and data hold function, easy to read on large LCD screen. Powered by one 6F22 9V battery (not included), can be used continuously for about 100 hours.

Great Light Measurement Device!

This product is a must-have for any industrial and scientific application. Its ability to rotate and extend allows for easy and accurate measurement of light in any direction. The waterproof design is perfect for outdoor use, and the photosynthetically radiation feature adds an additional level of precision. The only downside is that it may be a bit pricey for some budgets... Overall, highly recommend this PRODUCT!

Pros
  • Adjustable in multiple directions and angles, allowing for versatile use in various circumstances.
Cons
  • May be bulkier and heavier than other non-telescopic models due to the additional components necessary for its functionality.

Disappointing light measurement tool

This industrial and scientific product promised to accurately measure light but through trial and error, I found that it fell short. The waterproof feature was a plus, but the rotatable design made it difficult to get precise readings. It also lacked clear instructions, leading to confusion during use... Overall, not worth the investment in my opinion..

Pros
  • Waterproof feature
Cons
  • Rotatable design makes it difficult to get accurate readings

This is definitely NOT a Quantum Flux PAR Meter!

This is definitely not a PAR meter, I ordered it because I don't trust the results, so I ordered an Apogee MQ-500 (the one with the updated Quantum Flux sensor which is also accurate for the LED spectrum ) and compared them. This meter didn't even read T5 fluorescent tubes correctly, both sensors side by side read: T5 fluorescent tubes: 175 PPFD with this meter, 230 PPFD with Apogee. I tested the 750W KIND LED X2 Commercial LEDs with both sensors at the same distance from the LEDs and also…
