I wish I could find a pre-lit leafy vine that PLUGS IN - AND has a timer! So I finally got the olive and the eucalyptus versions of these. The batteries were new. but the olive vine died out more quickly (more lights? or maybe I set it up a day earlier?) I left them on the timer. The olive died within about 3-4 days. The eucalyptus was still lit but getting faint. I'm debating on keeping the olive vine because it works surprisingly well (lit or not) in my bathroom with an undersea theme. The olive vine resembles seaweed. I just wish it would plug in with a timer so I didn't have to hassle the batteries. I want to install it and leave it (and it would be overhead in this case). Also, the colour is a bright white, not bad if not trying to blend in with other lights. but too white for another room I tried it in, all of the other lights were warmer, more incandescent coloured.
