Excellent value for a simple, reliable dehumidifier. We use it to dehumidify our home as most retail dehumidifiers don't last more than a year and contain harmful mold and organic materials. This product does not have a drain tank, so you will need a drain to service a 15ft vinyl hose. . We use a washing machine drain in the wall. The only flaw with this dehumidifier is that it heats the room about 10F higher than the room, which can be a problem if you don't have air conditioning. If you want to dehumidify and keep a cool space, choose an air conditioner. If you just need a dehumidifier for home use in winter/cold climates/air conditioned rooms or to dehumidify after a flood, this is perfect.
