The four year old loves it. Lights up for fifteen minutes before bedtime to offset fear of the dark.

I liked that the four year old who received the blanket liked its softness, colors and shine. The baby's mother said it washes well and remains bright after many washes. Update: I managed to experience the blanket glow during a family camping trip and the blanket glowed well for at least fifteen minutes! Really helpful to balance the fear of the dark and all those scary things kids imagine.
