I have two little boys, 5 and 6 (we ordered '7'). My older one is lanky and skinny, the other is taller. For my eldest son we found the shorts to be a bit loose but they come with adjustable internal drawstrings so it worked. They fit my little one perfectly! No slipping, even when firing a cannonball!
