I just packed it for return. A previous reviewer said it was loud and even turned on the video, but I bought the damn thing anyway. I feel like a stupid woman. It's louder than anything else in your kitchen - everything. It's an annoying noise on top of being loud and I don't see how anyone can get used to it enough to use it. He opened a small bottle of mayonnaise for me, but it was a bit strange. It took a long time to start and pinch the bottle. When it was finished, it just stood there. Eventually it began to loosen, but again very slowly. When it was fully resolved it continued to make that horrible noise. Disabling dxxn is literally impossible! In summary, it's loud, annoying, slow, and uncontrollable. Maybe another brand of electronics suits you. I put an old-fashioned V-shaped one with teeth and screws under the kitchen cabinet. You just stick the lid of the jar as deep as possible into the V and twist the bottle a little. Fast, easy and always works. And no noise!
