This product works well as a broth, not a sauce. I've spilled it on my kittens' dry cat food but it hasn't turned into the sauce they love and hasn't eaten the food. They will eat dry and wet cat food with healthy gravy, but sometimes they will only eat gravy from the food. I'm still trying to find a nutritious (ie no salt, artificial additives or by-products) sauce to give my kittens an occasional treat - if such a product exists.
