I gave an average rating because it smelled good. However, my picky dogs didn't like it. I think if it was thicker they would risk trying it, but the bone broth is thin and they wouldn't budge, they'd even put it on top of their favorite kibble.

None of my cats would drink it. I bought this for my dying cat because she stopped eating solid food but ate broth or gravy greedily. She refused, followed by two healthy cats. In the week since her death, I've tried to get two others to drink it, but they won't even eat what they want with the broth. What a waste of money.

I have 2 cats. I was starting to think about buying broth to go with their kibble, especially since one of them is very picky about their food. My cats don't like or hate this broth? They don't look for it or drink it alone, but if I put it on their crumb, they eat the crumb. So I think it's "good". I wouldn't buy it again for my cats but it's easy for them to water their food and keep it in the fridge.

This product works well as a broth, not a sauce. I've spilled it on my kittens' dry cat food but it hasn't turned into the sauce they love and hasn't eaten the food. They will eat dry and wet cat food with healthy gravy, but sometimes they will only eat gravy from the food. I'm still trying to find a nutritious (ie no salt, artificial additives or by-products) sauce to give my kittens an occasional treat - if such a product exists.

We have an older dog who has trouble eating his regular food without soaking it first. He began to dislike water-soaked food. We thought we'd try Nulo Bone Broth and see if it makes a difference. It certainly was. He started eating regularly again and seemed to enjoy it a lot more. We even gave a little extra to our other dogs who also enjoyed it. The ingredients and price made it a must have for our home.
