Great for the car but add velcro to the bottom

The proof is in the pudding (or packaging)! I bought these because I had a car that smelled very strongly of mold. I bought a used car and when I got it it smelled ok, but after a few weeks the smell came back (someone probably left the windows open and it was raining!). I tried a few things: charcoal bags, air fresheners, and then flat moisture absorbers. I thought the humidifier helped a bit because the crystals were gelling, but they smelled like bad artificial "spring air". Anyway, I saw them and liked them because they had no smell - they just absorbed moisture. I used velcro to secure the bottom of the bin so it doesn't move around too much. I put it in my car and a few days passed and I saw water! Success! Then the pandemic hit and I went away with my parents for 2 months and completely forgot about the container. I returned to Florida and saw that the container was fairly full but not overflowing. I was amazed and so happy! I just sold my car and bought a new one. I decided to put the unit in the trunk to keep moisture out - after only 5 days it had about 1/3 inch of water in it! I couldn't believe there was so much water/moisture in the new car. Highly recommended even if you don't think you have a moisture problem. The footprint is so small it just dries out the area and the best part is that it doesn't smell like artificial flowers. there was such a problem. I think the velcro helped, but I don't ride erratically either. I will definitely buy again!
