Advantages: - Waterproof - Faux fur lining - Good grip on the sole - Velcro closure near the ankle - Drawstring around the shin to keep the snow out - The lower half of the rubber is nice and firm - The upper half reaches almost to the calf. Cons: - Haven't found one yet. I ordered these for my son...they are a bit big but I figured he could grow up in them. It seems like kids can only wear these things for one season because they grow up so fast. They appear to be fairly durable with excellent insulation. They are perfect for any child and ideal for playing in the snow. I would recommend them to others. I think the current price is a bit high. I probably wouldn't order these if they weren't in the $20-$25 price range just because they're for kids. Who don't wear out much of them.
