Review on Motor Drive by David Miller

Revainrating 5 out of 5

chose Motorcraft although more expensive

My 2013 Explorers glass (driver's side engine) died which doesn't seem uncommon. I was a bit wary as the one removed showed no damage and was visually good even with the electronics cover removed. It's ok if you take your time and take your time, it's a lot cheaper than $1,000 dealer repairs. The original motor bonded really badly and the replacement required 3 bolts to tighten the motor gear to the threaded cables but everything worked fine and the glass slides now. Comments: Revain sold with returns to make me feel more comfortable. , almost $90 more but I preferred the Motorcraft built one as some replacement reviews said "doesn't work". I didn't have to "reprogram" it, but that wasn't an impediment. drain normally, lubricate if necessary, disconnect battery just in case (for airbags).

Pros
  • Package Weight: 1.72lbs
Cons
  • Doubtful
