I have a 32 spoke hub with a 3 cross spoke design and the smaller size barely fits my bike. As some others have mentioned, they may not work and stay in place on different wheels that may not have as many spokes. They should fit so that it rests on two spokes and the center attaches to the spoke coming from the opposite side of the hub. As you can see in one of the pictures, the white bracket sticks out a bit. On the other reflectors I have, it's flush with the reflector. The white plastic pieces that attach the reflectors to the spokes are pretty flimsy. I broke one right away. Just don't overtighten.
