I am 30 years old. I've used hot combs my entire life and have never had any problem other than the occasional burning sensation in my ears. That hot comb is terrible. I got my hair done last week and it just came in the mail so I decided to go through and get my roots/edges. I started in the middle of the back as I was trying to measure hot and had to leave it on the stove. This thing is TERRIBLE. Not even hot enough to straighten hair and pluck out about 25 hairs after the first pass! I've tried a few more times and the same. I decided to leave it on the stove a little longer to actually heat it up. Tried again and the same. It tore my hair. I want a full refund because I can't use it at all! It looks like it hasn't been ground down between the teeth, causing the crack. This is after going through and combing my hair for tiny knots. I really felt this hot comb going through my hair so I pulled out an electric comb to finish. Such a disappointment as electric doesn't heat up enough for my thick hair. I WANT A REFUND AS IT WAS A COMPLETE WASTE OF MY HARD WORK FOR THE MONEY AND IT DESTROYED MY HAIR.
