I run over 56km a week and after trying many other options I found this to be the perfect running cap for the following reasons: Velcro closure so comfortable and easy to adjust for each individual run - lower am head for windy days, in the middle of the forehead for rain etc. There is a fair bit of fabric around the velcro for your hair to win so it doesn't get snagged. (2) The sweatband is very soft and extends to the ears, preventing sweat from getting into the eyes and headphones. It is so soft that you don't feel it even after many kilometers. (3) The beak is wide and a little longer to better protect it from the sun and rain. I've also run in 30mph winds and this thing hasn't moved a bit. The combination of strap and beak works perfectly. (4) Washes well. I put it in a plastic-sided underwear bag and tossed it in the washing machine; dry air. Comes out like new. (5) No cardboard, wires or staples. I hate those hard things that hit my head when running long distances. I bought a few as I walk every day but don't wash every day. Just do it. This product is worth its price.
