The old box was cracked and falling apart and this tool allowed me to close the wires and remove the sash of the box
Worked great to access a part of my phone company's phone booth that I needed to remove the box from my house. Since I switched off my landline in favor of a cell phone a few years ago, it hasn't been used anymore. The old box broke and fell apart and with this tool I was able to connect the wires and remove the box which made my house look a whole lot better.
