So far we have barely used this grinder for 2 hours and the motor started smoking twice when used for more than 10 minutes at a time. At first I thought I was pushing too hard, but not today and I still have a lot of grinding to do. It's still faster than hand sanding, and while I don't feel any suction in my head, not much dust comes out until I pull it off where I'm sanding. In terms of sanding, it does a decent job, but it takes a lot of passes, even with coarse sandpaper, so that part takes learning. It also tends to bounce badly where it shouldn't, so I'm not sure what happened to it. If anyone knows why it overheats so quickly that would be helpful to know.
