Review on Acer V277U: 2560X1440P FreeSync Monitor with Adaptive Sync and V7 Speakers by John Mccary

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great price for a quality 27 " monitor

A very impressive monitor in this price range. Replaced the 24" Dell Ultrasharp that finally gave up after years of use. Not being a gamer, it doesn't need an ultra high performance monitor. Very good brightness, colors, clarity, fine bezels and a resolution of 2560x 1440 @ 75Hz with the included 6ft DP cable The cons for me that really have no/minimal impact: 1. Control buttons on the back (I'm using a 3 monitor setup with one in the middle), so I have to pull it forward when I need to adjust settings or access the menu 2. The speakers are a waste of time and it's a shame they weren't included I use external speakers as I assume 99% the buyer of this product they just add to the weight and thickness of the device 3 the stand is good and allows for some tilt but no height adjustment at all again these downsides are minor to me but can be affect a potential buyer, so I wanted to point that out. Overall I'm very happy with this monitor and would recommend it to any non-gamer looking for a reasonably priced 27 inch monitor.
