I bought this monitor to replace a 10 year old 25 inch 1920x1080 monitor that finally failed. I figured I could somehow improve my performance by replacing it anyway and this Acer was perfect for all needs! I mainly use my computer for graphics work, but sometimes I also play games when I have time, and in both cases it's quite nice to have an increased resolution compared to my old monitor. Contrast also seems fantastic in comparison, being somewhat brighter (when on) and having darker blacks.

I had a really hard time choosing a monitor after reading hundreds of reviews from people who were clearly more tech savvy than me. Monitors are bright and clear. I haven't had any issues with damage or dead pixels on any of my screens. It feels like a HUGE upgrade from 24-inch monitors. The mounts are strong and pretty easy to install. I like them a lot more than my previous rounded standing monitors.

I've been looking for an IPS WQHD monitor with correct color reproduction and VESA mount support for quite a long time. I'm very impressed, the almost borderless look is really nice and can be great for photo editing without spending a lot of money. I think I can order a few more.

This monitor is shared between my work laptop and my home PC. It replaced a larger 1920x1080 monitor. Although the screen size is smaller, this new monitor's 2560 x 1440 resolution allows many more windows to fit on it, while emails and documents still remain crisp, clear and easy to read.
