Review on Acer V277U: 2560X1440P FreeSync Monitor with Adaptive Sync and V7 Speakers by Clarance Waller

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Image quality: my rating

At this point, Revain is probably tired of my returning monitors. But maybe one day they will ask me to be a product critic. I think this monitor is worth the money. I bought 27" Dell 4K Monitors U2718Q and fitted them next to these Acer, and Dell's 4K picture quality is NOT as true, crisp and clear as Acer's, even when watching real 4K videos, these Acer offer 2K monitors have excellent picture quality. The Acer(s) are beautiful to look at and easy on the eye. I'm using 2 machines to review: the new Mac Mini 2018 and the Lenovo S20 Thinkstation. Both have decent GPUs. I also have a Samsung 28 " Bought LU28E570DS which is a TN panel and still doesn't fit. As far as games go, I can't give you my opinion as I'm not a gamer. I also bought an HP 23es and an Acer 25" G257HU and found that Acer just makes some pretty darn good monitors. In the end I decided to keep the Acer 27" and 25" monitors as well as the HP 23es. They are intended for everyday use in my office, a 25" Acer for my wife and 2 Acer 27" V277Us for my home office which I am very happy with. I'm sorry Dell but it's not worth those paying an extra $200 for a monitor Acer is turning around but I'm currently looking at Vivo free stand dual monitor mounts that might work better than a Dell system Well guys I was hoping at the to be able to help with the decision.
