Great fit because of the zipper and drawstring
We used this and another style from another manufacturer for our 38-pound Australian Cattle Dog as she was recovering from a wound. This one fit great because of its adjustability, and she never figured out how to wiggle out of it. But, the legs on it are a little short for where her wound was (upper front leg) and she would sometimes get to the bottom of the wound (ACDs are very determined!). So, we rotated between the two recovery suits and she recovered very well without infection or further problems. The medium fit her perfectly.
- E-collar alternative: The long sleeve surgical suit is available for hot spots, post surgery, avoid scratching and itching. The onesie can let pet do regular activities as before without much limitation and stay in good mood.
- Some dogs may find the texture of the suit uncomfortable or itchy, causing them to scratch and aggravate their wound
