First of all the bag is great and I've already had compliments on the way it looks. It's made of thick leather and damn durable. Now it looks good and wears well. The outer pockets are attached with Velcro, which are fixed with straps without a fastener. They work well and remain closed. I can pack a laptop, CPAP machine, chargers, toiletries, medication and chargers with a change of shirts, socks and underwear. You can even squeeze in an extra pair of jeans. I highly recommend it, it's the cheapest short trip luggage I've ever had. Oh, it fits under the airplane seat so you don't have to worry about taking it on board. No goal so struggled to put him in the top basket. However, it's shaped in such a way that when I want it on top, it always finds a spot that people with skateboards struggle with.
