I happened upon this beautiful gem of a product while assembling my first speaker set and I am extremely pleased with the amazing sound quality results from this particular Dayton Audio Exciter. After doing a little research on the Dayton Audio website on how to use an exciter speaker and placing it on specific materials (wood, plastic, acrylic, etc.) I felt confident enough to design a very decent 96W speaker system to put together. I was able to assemble two speakers, both from a 3/16" piece of clear acrylic that I cut to about 15" x 27" - essentially a classic rectangular shape. Each speaker has 2 exciters in series that increase the volume. Watts up to 48W for each speaker and 4 ohms for each driver (in series) up to 8 ohms for both speakers For the amplifier I used WINGONEER TDA7492 Wireless Bluetooth 4.0 2x50W 2 Channel Audio Receiver Stereo Digital Power Amplifier Board Module.
