I've used the All in Wonder mount several times now in my engineering consulting work. In fact, after the first install I used it on, I figured I'd always keep a new one in its packaging on my shelf so I'd be ready for any installation work that might come up. The best feature is the velcro closure. Straps with stepless size adjustment. This is a well thought out product, marred only by one design flaw involving the attachment of small devices. The thing is securely and quickly attached to the wall. (Of course, ideally you want to screw into a stand or plywood, but wallboard anchors will do for not-too-heavy items. I don't think I'd trust PC anchors, but cable box is definitely not a problem.), stronger than the screws that come with the Metal wall mount included which I bought from another company at the same time. I ended up swapping the screws around (because I had a very light unit on this plastic bracket and a heavier one on a metal bracket). For a device the size of a gaming rig or dash cam, this thing should work perfectly without any tweaks or modifications. But when you're installing something small -- especially something small with a slick/slippery case -- like an Apple TV, Roku, or Mac Mini, you need to take precautions. These little guys with their slippery shells and rounded corners will pop out of this thing like a jack in a box. See, what's most likely to happen is the straps on the bottom of the device will spread out and slide off the device completely. (By sending your expensive device to the floor). If you've ever hit the straps while wrapping around a held device, or squeezed too hard while inserting a cable into a device, I imagine this has happened to you. And the straps on the Apple TV are actually too wide. distances to even hold it. So if you need to hold such a small device, I suggest you do what I did: take a piece of Velcro (I used a strap 3/4 inch wide and about 10 inches long) and wrap it around the bottom of the straps. .Then you can move the straps closer together at the bottom than at the top.) Unfortunately, the straps won't lie perfectly flat on your device. However, this is very slight and not tiring. For any device smaller than, say, 8 inches wide I think you should use the same trick to prevent the straps from slipping off your precious device. I then used zip ties to shorten the straps (bend the straps about 1.5 inches and then fasten them securely). After making this mod the straps fitted well and held together as intended. In an ideal world, the product would contain a rubber sleeve that would either wrap around the bottom of the device or be wrapped with velcro straps that would prevent the straps (and the device) from moving. I love this mount so much I've decided to always have it on my shelf, ready for any product installation project that comes along. (And I'll also make sure I have the other items I mentioned to adjust the straps if needed.)
